Malia Johnston is a choreographer and performance director, with a repertoire spanning 20 years. With her own company Movement Of The Human, Johnston has collaborated with an incredibly diverse range of performers and arts organizations, creating new work for both the national and international stage. Johnston is an Arts Ambassador for Te Auaha NZ Institute of Creativity and teaches choreography at tertiary institutions across NZ.  Malia is the artistic director for the World of Wearable Art Awards 2018 and has directed 14 prior shows with this organization.
